Terms of Service
The rules for using ITA.TO. Last updated 29 October 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Privacy Operator at Oxiti Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15228422), of Oxiti Ltd, 5 Canon Court, Institute Street, Bolton, England, BL1 1PZ (“we”, “us”), which operates ITA.TO. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use ITA.TO for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. Our Privacy Notice and Cookie Notice explain how we handle personal data and cookies.
2. The service
ITA.TO provides short links, campaigns, QR codes, analytics, protected links and protected files, branded access pages, an API and an MCP server for AI assistants. We may improve or change the service. If we make a change that materially reduces a feature of a plan you have paid for, we will give you reasonable notice.
3. Your account and workspace
Give accurate details, verify your email address, and keep your credentials secure (we recommend enabling two-factor authentication). You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including by team members you invite and API or AI-assistant access you authorise. Workspace owners decide who can edit, publish and delete.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use ITA.TO to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- phish, defraud, distribute malware, or disguise where a link leads;
- send spam or harass people;
- upload files that contain malware, or file types we do not allow;
- probe, overload or bypass the security, quotas or limits of the service, or abuse it with automated traffic.
Anyone can report a link at /report-link. We screen destinations automatically (restricted-host lists, rule-based checks for phishing patterns and, where enabled, a reputation service) and may show visitors a warning page before they continue to a link that looks unsafe or has been reported. We may disable links, QR codes, files or accounts that breach these terms, that are reported or found unsafe, or that we are legally required to remove, and we may pause creating new links in a workspace after repeated violations. A person decides on blocking and pausing; you can appeal by opening a support ticket. See the abuse policy.
5. Links, QR codes and campaigns
- You control destinations. Editing a campaign’s destination changes where every existing short link and printed QR code leads. You are responsible for where your links lead.
- Test before you print. We design QR codes to scan reliably and show a scannability score, but we cannot guarantee that every phone, camera or printed surface will read every code.
- Rotation and retirement. You can rotate a QR code to issue a new one and choose whether the old code keeps working, stops after a grace period you set, or stops immediately. A retired code no longer forwards visitors; it shows a notice instead. You are responsible for reprinting, replacing and telling your audience. We record scans of retired codes so you can see how much old print is still in use.
- Plan changes. If your plan allows fewer campaigns than you have, the extra published campaigns stay online but become read-only.
6. Your content and protected files
You keep ownership of what you upload and the destinations you publish. You give us a limited licence to host, copy, scan, encrypt, process and deliver it as needed to run the service for you. You confirm you have the rights to do so.
Protected files are encrypted before storage and released only through the access rules you set (for example password, email code, approved recipients, expiry or visit limit). Files may be scanned for malware and rejected. “Delivered” means our server streamed the file; it does not prove the recipient received, opened or kept it. When you delete a file, access is disabled immediately and the stored copy is removed afterwards by a background process. Backups may keep copies for a limited time (retention period to be confirmed).
7. Plans, billing and allowances
Paid plans are billed in advance each month through Stripe at the price shown at checkout (shown in US dollars on our pricing page); taxes may apply. Each plan includes allowances for links, QR codes, campaigns, channels, workspace members and protected-file storage, as listed on the pricing page. Monthly creation allowances reset each billing period. Rotating a QR code issues a new QR code and uses one unit of the monthly allowance that new links and QR codes share.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time in the billing portal. It then ends at the end of the term you have paid for, and you keep your plan until then.
You can also ask for a refund of a payment. As soon as you ask, your subscription is set to stop renewing at the end of the paid term. If it is your first payment on ITA.TO and you ask within 24 hours of paying, your refund is approved automatically, in full and without a cancellation fee. This applies once per account; any later payment is reviewed by our team.
Otherwise a member of our team reviews your request and replies within two business days (up to three business days in rare or complicated cases), counting Monday to Friday and excluding bank holidays in England and Wales. Where a refund is approved there is no cancellation fee. We may refund the full amount or part of it, and we will tell you how the amount was worked out.
When a refund for the payment that covers your current term is issued, your subscription ends immediately and the workspace returns to the Free plan. Your links and QR codes are not deleted. The money normally reaches your card within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
If you are a consumer, nothing here limits your statutory rights, including any right to cancel that applies to you.
If a subscription ends or a payment fails after any grace period, the workspace returns to Free allowances; existing published items stay online where possible but may become read-only.
8. Personal data
We handle personal data as described in the Privacy Notice. If you use ITA.TO to collect information about your own visitors or recipients (for example through protected links, email codes or conversion tracking), you are responsible for having a lawful basis and for giving those people any notices the law requires.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep ITA.TO available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance. Support is provided through support tickets in your workspace.
10. Our property
We own ITA.TO, its software and branding. You may use the service in line with these terms. If you give us feedback, we may use it without obligation.
11. Suspension and ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or legal or security risk, giving notice where practical. When an account ends, its links and QR codes stop working and data is handled as described in the Privacy Notice. Export what you need first (analytics CSV, and the personal-data export in the Privacy centre).
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, and our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes by email or in the product before they take effect. Continuing to use ITA.TO after that means you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of that jurisdiction have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
